Gonzo's BMX BBQ - 9th Annual

Last Saturday was Gonzo's 9th Annual BMX BBQ at Elysian Park in Los Angeles. Saw some San Diego Heads out there representing on the Freestyle tip! Good shit!

Rolled out with Leo and Spayde, stopped by Street Mafia on the way back and Spayde dropped in on a fuckin' sick white S&M 38 Special. Spayde is a Baller! Look out now!

Rapped out with Johnny Johnson (Commissary / GHP Factory Team) and Salvador (SLB).

Best bike I saw was a Vector mini.

Tag Heuer F1 GD

Sport, design, and function combine into the straightforward, high-performance design of the Tag Heuer's F1 Grande Date. The monochromatic face is a full superluminova white dial (also available in a black model with white indexes) that sits under a titanium coated scratch-resistant unidirectional turning bezel. The watch also features 200m water resistance, "Grande Date" window at 6 'o clock, and a small second subdial.

Sigg Lunch Box

If brown-baggin' it at work is your thing, you're going to love Sigg's new lunch box design by Masato Yamamoto. The plastic box is surrounded in a brushed metal housing which opens to reveal a lid with built-in trays to store the included cutlery.

Dunhill Connect 4 Upgrade

So what do you buy when you've got a little too much cash to spend? Well, you can get yourself a ridiculously over-styled version of Connect 4 for starters. Dunhill's luxurious tribute to the plastic classic is a little excessive, but just as fun.

2010 Mercedes Benz S400 H

The S-Class range isn't exactly the most economical car in the Mercedes Benz lineup, but that all changes this year with the introduction of the new S400 Hybrid. The car is the same elegant Rodeo Drive cruiser you know and love with a 295 hp Hybrid engine that is capable of achieving 29 miles per gallon. Not bad for something that is basically a penthouse on four wheels.

Fracap Japan

Fracap Japan's boots is just one of a million examples of the amazing pieces of gear that will never ever reach our shores. Fortunately for Oki-Ni, they were able to procure the boots exclusively for their shop. My favorite is the Mountaineering Boot available in either suede or grain leather with contrasting red laces and heavy duty vibram soles. Definitely a smarter investment than the soon to be over-saturated Red-Wing boots.

Singgih Kartono

Hand-crafted from naturally harvested mahogany and sonokeling wood in an Indonesian farming village, this desk set from Singgih Kartono definitely outclasses anything you can find at the local Office Depot.

Omega Constellation 09

Redesigned and relaunched for 2009, the new Omega Constellation isn't that much of a departure from the original 1982 design which was acclaimed for its elegant styling and the signature "Griffes" design. The evolutionary new look features refined details, a re-engineered bracelet, and your choice of a quartz calibre movement or Omega's in-house Co-Axial calibre.

Over and over again Oliver Peoples never lets us down and for Summer 09 they've got another round of solid styles up for grabs. A couple of notable pieces include the Maceo (top - $375), a beautiful and luxurious take on the classic wayfarer and the angular Bechet (bottom - $350) Aviator.
